The dates for the 2012 reunion to be held near Dayton, Ohio have been announced.  The dates are Oct. 10th - 14th.  No hotel has been announced as yet, usually because the hotel we will be using does not want it announced too far in advance.

We plan to visit the Wright-Patterson AFB Air Museum where the original "Swoose" is being restored, have lunch at the Officer's Club on the base.  We plan to also visit the Wright Bros. Aviation Ctr., Wright Bros. Cycle Works and Huffman Prairie Flying Field, all at the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Park.

Mark your calendars and plan to gather with us again this year.  A great time was had by all last year in Kansas City and we also must realize that there are fewer and few of the veterans able to join us each year and the window of opportunity to meet and visit with them is quickly closing.  If at all possible, I would encourage your to attend this reunion.

I am John Palm lll & my father is John Palm Jr who was in 463rd. When I saw his news letter about the Dayton reunion I decided that I would do everything I could do to get him there since it is so close to us. Several months ago I asked if he wanted to go to the museum but he said no. I have been there many times but never with him. I have always enjoied seeing the B17, the plaque in the picnic area along with the F4 Phantom jet that I worked on when I was in the Marine Corps. Dad is now in a nursing home but he is now very excited about the upcomming reunion. As additional information is available I would like people to e-mail me at j.palm@fuse.net. Thanks to all of you.
