I would be interested in a 772nd patch if one becomes available, I have the book, I have my father's military records, but poor storage of them until I found them , has left them in bad condition.  I am trying to find out more  of is military history, I have a lot of pictures and some maps.  My father was the Engineer and top gunner, The son of T/SGT Truman Day . I found out somethings before his war buddy Bill Meadows past away a number of years ago. I wish that I would have recorded some of the stories that he told. I believe Norman Lear was on the crew.

You might go on Ebay and post a notice that when/if anything regarding the 463rd comes available for sale, that you would automatically be notified.  I saw recently a 772nd original patch for sale there so it might be worth your while.  Some of those type things sell for what I consider astronomical prices while others are more reasonable.  Usually the non-original ones are more affordable.

I would still like very much to have one. My uncle, my father’s brother, was 1LT Clyde Hart, pilot, operating out of Foggia, Italy, won the DFC for a mission against submarine pens in France. Please let me know cost if possible. Many sincere thanks.
