Does anyone have photos of the Miss Behaven?  I had exchanged messages with a woman named Mary whose father was on a crew in the 773rd BS, and they had regularly flown the plane.  When the crew was on leave, the plane was used by the 775th BS and it was shot down with my uncle on board.

In one of the messages I had from Mary, she said she had spoken with one of her father's crew-mates and he had photos of the plane, but I haven't been able to get back in touch with Mary.

Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.  I will gladly pay to have copies made of any available photos of Miss Behaven.

Thanks,

Marty

Marty,

I will check through all my photos and see if I have a picture of that B-17.  I think I do but I'll have to look to make sure.

Probably the "Mary" you were in contact with was Mary Erickson, whose father was in the 773rd.  I will send you her email in a private message.

I'll be back in touch.

Joel

Thanks Joel.

I know you have one photo of Miss Behaven that used to be on the old website on the photo albums.  It was of the plane in flight dropping its bombs.  You previously sent me a copy of that photo.  The Mary that e-mailed me had seen a posting I left on Armyairforces.com about the plane.  All I had was her first name and e-mail address.

The other gentleman she knew told her he had several photos of the plane, including the nose art.  If I can get copies of those photos, I will make additional copies and send them to you for the archives.

Thanks, Marty.  I have not received any additional photos of that plane so it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, My name is Brett and I'm currently serving in the USAF. I'm trying to trace my Great Uncle's past. I was told by family members that he flew with the Swoose group on Miss Behavin and was shot down in 1944 over Italy. I wanted to know if anyone may have a roster of the plane's crew or where I may find this information. His name was Hugh Diggins and I beleive he was a waist gunner. Thank you all in advance.

Hello,  I know these posts are very old, but I was wondering if anyone ever found any pictures of Miss Behavin'.  My great uncle was on board when it was shot down and he was lost at sea.  I am looking for some history on him.  My family seems to very little about his time in the service. If you look at the Ed Bigga Crew photo he is on the bottom right.
