Do any veterans or anyone, for that matter, have any rosters showing the POW personnel of the various Stalag Luft POW camps? Very often surviving POWs and/or their family members are trying to locate men who they or their relatives may have been with in the camps. A roster of any sort would be most helpful. Thanks to you all, for all you have given. Joel __________________ Joel

Joel, This link is to a webpage with a partial list of men held in Stalag Luft 1. It has the names and hometowns of some of the men held there. It might help get you some of the info you are looking for. http://www.merkki.com/the_roommates.htm Marty Upchurch Nephew of Lloyd Upchurch |

Reply with quote | #4 | Hello, I've compiled a list of about 950 POWs held at the Bucharest POW camp in August of 1944. I believe most, if not all, were survivors of bombers shot down during raids at Ploesti; still looking for the other 175 or so; will be happy to share this info with whomever interested. Reply with quote | #5 | Leon, I would dearly love to have a copy of your list of POWs. I'm sure there will be some from the 463rd listed there.
You can email it to Joel@463rd.org. It will be greatly appreciated.
