I have some new neighbors who moved into a rental house across from my house.
By coincidence one of their friends who comes over to visit almost daily is a guy named Johnny whose step father was a 332nd FG Tuskegee Airman named Hugh Warner.
On July 18th,1944 on escort with the 5th Bomb Wing on the Memmingen mission he shot down a Messerschmidt Bf-109 on the same day my father was on that mission.Hugh Warner from what I was told stayed into the service and became a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam Conflict.I was told that he is not with us by Johnny (his stepson) who has all of his photos and documents in his attic.
Unfortunately though he is kind of slow on being able to dig them out from his attic.
I'll keep trying though as some of these pictures might be quite useful for a 4th Pictoral History of the 463rd BG CD.I'd like to scan them all too although only a few of them would pertain to the 463rd BG .
