My Dad Served in 15th AF, in Foggia, Italy. Sometime between 1944 and the end of the war, don't know what unit. He served in the 8th AF, 100th BG, 349th sqdn. and was reassigned to the 15th.

When he was in the 349th, he was a gunner on a B-17, Torchy 3 230487, don't know what a/c he served on in the 15th.

His Name is Paul E. Calkin, he was a S/Sgt.

My uncle, pilot Lt Robert Lee Turner from St. Clairsville, Ohio was killed Aug 19 above Ploesti along with his bombardier, Lt. Fred Dabelow.  I do not know what squadron he was with. Any additional info, surviving crew, or photos would be greatly appreciated. I am taking my young children to Arlington to pay our respects and any additional personel history would be great.

You are to be congratulated on teaching your childern of those who have given so much for our great country.  When my wife and I visited Arlington a couple of years ago, it was breathtaking for us, to walk along the paths and see the names of those men who gave so much for us all.

As I responded in your email to me, I will get all the information I can find regarding your father and his time in the 774th Squadron and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
